At Excellent Academy Inc., our Language Arts program is designed to build a strong literacy foundation for young learners from Junior Kindergarten through Grade 3. We focus on developing essential communication skills that students will carry with them throughout their entire academic journey.

Our program follows the Ontario curriculum and provides a nurturing, engaging environment where early learners can grow their reading, writing, and language skills at their own pace.

We cover key areas of Language Arts, including:

• Reading – phonics, sight words, fluency, and reading comprehension
• Writing – letter formation, sentence building, and creative writing
• Grammar – parts of speech, punctuation, and sentence structure
• Vocabulary – word recognition, spelling, and vocabulary development
• Oral Communication – listening skills and expressing ideas clearly

We help students:

• Develop strong reading and writing skills from an early age
• Build vocabulary and grammar knowledge step by step
• Improve spelling, punctuation, and sentence formation
• Gain confidence in expressing their thoughts both verbally and in writing
